Sean Van Praag found his path back in 2004 after being exposed to the artistic beauty of his newly found home — a small little beach town in Florida called Seagrove. He began selling paintings to friends and creating t-shirts for local shops and restaurants. After deciding he wanted to push this newly minted passion further, he decided to go to art school. Upon graduating, he cut his teeth making motion design in the City of Angels. He worked hard, hustled, and caught some good luck which landed him his first gig creating film titles for some of the biggest feature films of the time. As the saying goes, all that glitters is not gold, and Sean eventually decided he needed a break. He headed back to his hometown of Cincinnati and started a job doing concert stage visuals and commercials for a local studio. After meeting up with an old friend, a spark re-ignited and he decided to stay and start a family. In 2011 Sean started his self-titled motion design studio, and has been creating motion design for clients both local and national ever since. Over the span of his career he’s worked on music videos for The Black Eyed Peas and Fitz & The Tantrums, stage visuals for Justin Bieber and Jay-Z, commercials for Nike and AAA, a logo for a feature film, and all kinds of other crazy-cool things. His passion and drive stems from his desire to create, bring something new into the world, and to relentlessly push to be better.
