LUMA is an experiential projection-mapped work featuring the corner structure of the Federal Reserve Bank building on 4th and Main Streets. Using programmable light sticks and long-exposure stop-motion photography, people will be composed in conjunction with polychromatic, animated light spectrums. Animated light patterns will be composed all over and around Cincinnati’s urban landscape. Almost the entirety of the visuals will be created in-camera, and then manipulated into looped segments in post to create kinetic and saturated light movements.
