The Kolar team is a creative collective made up of artists, design thinkers, strategists, architects, interior, graphic and industrial designers working together as change agents. Our award-winning creative agency builds experiences at the intersection of people and place making positive impact by adding soul to spaces for our clients and community. We are a passionate about finding new and better ways to connect people, places, and brands—from healing environments focused on the patient and family experience to global workplaces that blend corporate and cultural identity. You can find our work in mixed-use development, where placemaking and art is breathing life into urban areas; in city parks that have become the heart of communities; and in event settings, where shifting populations and new technologies are redefining immersive experiences. Our team is driven by the belief that creativity is transformative, that unique experiences are agents of change for people, brands and business. We design to remind people why they do what they do everyday, to change culture and, sometimes, even to change lives. The “URBAN CAMPGROUND” concept was born in our “LAB” with our entire creative team and the Parks Foundation through ideation, brainstorming, research and conceptual development. CONCEPTUAL VISION: The Kolar Collective; DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION: Bryan Peter, Client Lead, Matthew Grote, Senior Designer and Caroline Atkinson, Design Co-op.
