The internationally known luminarium, Architects of Air, is returning to BLINK®. The giant Architects of Air sculpture is proudly presented by Macy’s.
BLINK, presented by ArtsWave, will happen in downtown Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and surrounding neighborhoods, October 10-13, 2019.
“Those who attended BLINK in 2017 will remember the Architects of Air luminarium, Katena. For 2019, you will enjoy Dodecalis (dough-deck-alice), a new and magical experience, making its world premiere at BLINK,” said Brendon Cull, senior vice president and COO of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.
“Celebrating and creating community is at the heart of Macy’s” said Matt Stautberg, Macy’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Planning. “Macy’s is proud to continue our support of the arts in Cincinnati and thrilled to present this year’s Architects of Air sculpture and the spirit of BLINK.”
“Today’s announcement, made first to Macy’s employees as they kicked off their annual ArtsWave fund drive, is just the latest example of the company’s tremendous support for the arts in Greater Cincinnati,” said Alecia Kintner, ArtsWave president and CEO. “ArtsWave is delighted that Architects of Air will be returning to BLINK in 2019 and is excited to offer all donors of $150 or more to the ArtsWave Community Campaign two complimentary tickets to experience Dodecalis, thanks to Macy’s.”
Donors to ArtsWave who give $150 or more will not only support 100+ arts organizations, but they will be able to receive two tickets to the Architects of Air, as well as other arts and other experiences. For more information on this, please go to www.ArtsWave.org/Benefits.
